My First Horror Short Story Submitted
Saturday, October 5th 2024
Keep your fingers crossed, friends! Today, I submitted my first horror short story to Dread Monday: A Whisper House Press Anthology, edited by multi-genre, Utah-based writer Stephen Capone.
The theme for the anthology really speaks to me: workplace horror. Having worked for 25 years in companies as varied as start-ups to multinational corporations, I feel like I’ve experienced enough to write a pretty compelling short story.
Just an update on the novella. I’m just over 22,000 words into it. I’ve passed the mid-point, not only in the story, but also the length. And, omg, the mid-story reveal was pretty strong!
